COLLISION DETECTION - TIP PREVENTION 

One of the most important safety aspects of a height-adjustable desk is proper collision detection. A sit-to-stand desk should stop immediately when it collides with your knee, chair - anything. Failure to do so can cause the desk to tip over and other risks. MojoDesk is equipped with a high-end collision detection module that is superior to others on the market and which works equally well in both up and down directions.

SAFETY TESTING: BIFMA

Unlike other consumer sit-to-stand desks, MojoDesk has been tested by independent labs and is certified to meet compliance standards for durability, stability and safety standards from BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) and ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials).

 

One of the stability and safety tests MojoDesk is put through is 20,000 up/down cycles with hundreds of pounds of weights placed in several areas of the desktop.

As MojoDesk is GREENGUARD Gold certified, we also automatically meet the BIFMA X7.1 standard. This standard provides performance requirements for the emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
